Project Overview

The City of Coral Springs issued a competitive procurement for the collection of solid waste and recyclable materials, seeking a qualified service provider to manage residential and commercial waste operations citywide. The client engaged PRESWERX to strengthen their pursuit, providing professional proposal development, presentation design, and presentation coaching. The engagement called for translating a complex municipal service offering into a clear, persuasive package aligned with the City's evaluation criteria. PRESWERX supported the full arc of the submission from the written proposal through final interview preparation, helping position the team as a credible and well-prepared contender.

Client Challenges

Pursuing a municipal services contract for a city the size of Coral Springs demanded more than operational capability: it required communicating that capability clearly and convincingly to a non-technical evaluation panel.

  • Translating detailed service delivery logistics into a readable, persuasive written proposal

  • Differentiating the team's qualifications and approach in a field of experienced competitors

  • Designing a presentation that conveyed professionalism, organization, and readiness to serve

  • Preparing client representatives to deliver a confident, polished performance under interview conditions

Each challenge pointed to the same need: a pursuit package built around the evaluator's perspective.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a complete pursuit package tailored to the City of Coral Springs' procurement requirements. The scope included drafting and refining the written proposal, ensuring that technical service details were framed in accessible, evaluator-friendly language. PRESWERX also designed the formal presentation used during the selection interview, creating a cohesive visual story that reinforced the team's key differentiators. Rounding out the engagement, PRESWERX provided hands-on presentation coaching to the client's principals, helping them rehearse key talking points, sharpen their delivery, and prepare for likely evaluator questions. Each deliverable built directly on the last, creating a consistent and compelling pursuit narrative.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached the engagement as a single integrated pursuit rather than three separate deliverables. The proposal, presentation, and coaching were developed in sequence so each element reinforced the client's core message.

  • Structured the written proposal around the City's stated evaluation criteria, leading with clarity over volume

  • Designed the presentation to mirror the proposal's narrative arc, giving evaluators a consistent story across both documents

  • Coached the client's spokespersons through targeted rehearsals focused on concise responses and confident delivery

The result was a pursuit package where every component pointed in the same direction.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a polished, fully integrated pursuit package ready for submission and presentation to the City of Coral Springs. Every deliverable was held to a clear standard: it had to serve the evaluator, not just document the client's capabilities.

  • The written proposal presented complex service logistics in plain, evaluator-friendly language without sacrificing technical credibility

  • The presentation gave the client a professional, visually consistent forum to reinforce the written submission

  • Presentation coaching left the team's spokespersons prepared, rehearsed, and confident ahead of the selection interview

The client entered the selection process with a complete, coherent pursuit package and the preparation to stand behind it.
