Project Overview

The Clark County School District Three Middle Schools project encompassed the replacement of three existing middle schools, J. Harold Brinley, Frank Garside, and CW Woodbury, across separate sites in Las Vegas, Nevada. The $50 million program replaced Brinley with a new 119,000 square foot, 1,050 student school and Garside with a new 141,000 square foot, 1,250 student school, each built on the existing campus while the current buildings remained occupied through phased demolition and construction. With three separate school replacements bundled into a single pursuit, the client needed a proposal that could present all three projects as one coordinated program. PRESWERX partnered with the client's team to build that proposal.

Client Challenges

Presenting three separate middle school replacements as a single, coordinated bundle required a proposal that could organize each project without losing the bigger picture:

  • Keeping three schools, each with its own site, phasing plan, and construction sequence, organized as one coherent program.

  • Explaining how construction would proceed on occupied campuses without disrupting each school's daily operations.

  • Standing out in a competitive pursuit for a major Clark County School District contract.

Together, these challenges called for a proposal structured clearly enough to present three projects as one program.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed the written proposal for the pursuit, organizing three separate middle school replacements, Brinley, Garside, and Woodbury, into a single, coordinated submission. The proposal addressed each school's site conditions, building program, and phased construction sequence, including the demolition of existing buildings, construction of new ball fields, courts, and parking, and installation of new utility services, all while each campus remained occupied. By presenting the three projects together, the proposal gave the selection committee a clear view of how the client would manage a multi site program of this scale.

PRESWERX Approach

With three schools and three separate sites to present, PRESWERX built the proposal around structure and consistency across all three projects.

  • Organized each school's scope, site conditions, and phasing into a consistent, easy to compare format.

  • Addressed how construction would proceed on each occupied campus without disrupting school operations.

  • Presented the three replacements as one coordinated program rather than three separate submissions.

The result was a proposal that made a large, multi site program easy to evaluate.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a complete written proposal built to the standard of a major Clark County School District selection process.

  • The proposal organized three separate school replacements into one consistent, easy to follow submission.

  • Each school's site conditions, phasing, and construction sequence were presented clearly and consistently.

  • The structure gave the selection committee a clear view of how a multi site program would be managed.

The client's team submitted a proposal with a clear, well organized case across all three schools.
