Project Overview
The Clackamas Abernathy Bridge was an $18,000,000 engineering services project on South Molalla Avenue in Sandy, Oregon, procured by Clackamas County. South Molalla Avenue serves as a critical transportation link for residents in the south end of town, and the project was designed to improve safety for drivers and pedestrians while mitigating flooding from Bear Creek overtopping the roadway. The scope required a consultant with specific expertise in narrow shoulder constraints adjacent to mapped wetlands, an undersized culvert, and stormwater quality and detention improvements. PRESWERX supported the client's pursuit by developing the proposal for the Clackamas County selection.
