Project Overview
The Civic Center Buildings and Plaza project in Las Vegas, Nevada brought a major new civic campus to downtown Las Vegas for the City of Las Vegas. The $190,000,000 project encompassed new government buildings and a public plaza as part of a comprehensive downtown civic development, delivered through a Construction Manager at Risk procurement process under Nevada Revised Statutes. The project positioned a landmark civic destination at the heart of downtown, providing the city with a purpose-built hub for government services and public gathering. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings and animations in support of the competitive pursuit.

Client Challenges
The client faced a pursuit where a downtown civic campus had to read as a city-defining investment:
A multi-building civic complex with a public plaza required imagery that communicated the full scope as one cohesive, activated downtown destination.
A CMAR two-phased selection required visual assets that gave the City of Las Vegas a compelling picture at each stage.
A $190M downtown investment required renderings and animations that matched the scale and public significance of a landmark civic project.
Together, these called for a package that made a major civic campus feel as purposeful as the city it serves.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced renderings and animations for the Civic Center Buildings and Plaza project in Las Vegas, Nevada. The renderings depicted the multi-building civic campus and public plaza as a cohesive downtown destination, communicating the scale and civic character of a $190M investment at the heart of the city. The animations gave the City of Las Vegas's evaluation team a dynamic view of how the completed complex would activate the downtown core as a public gathering place and government services hub. All deliverables were calibrated to support the client's competitive submission through a two-phased CMAR selection process.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX focused on one challenge: making a large-scale civic complex feel like a destination the city would be proud to build.
Developed renderings that captured the multi-building campus and public plaza as one cohesive civic landmark in the downtown Las Vegas core.
Presented the plaza and civic buildings as an activated community destination, not just government infrastructure.
Produced animations that gave the City a dynamic view of the completed campus and its downtown impact.
The result was a package that gave a landmark civic project the visual presence its scale demanded.
