Project Overview

The City of Jacksonville Medical Examiner's Office project in Jacksonville, Florida delivered a new 52,000 square foot, two-story forensic facility to replace a building the office had outgrown. The $88,000,000 project encompassed a full program of laboratory spaces, autopsy suites, imaging and photo stations, refrigeration and freezer rooms, forensic investigation workstations, administrative areas, and conference facilities, alongside complete MEP infrastructure and site development on city-owned property at 43 Davis Street North. The facility positioned the Medical Examiner's Office to serve Jacksonville for decades ahead. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings, animations, a presentation, and coaching in support of the competitive pursuit.

Client Challenges

The client needed a full pursuit package for a specialized forensic facility with a technically complex program:

  • A 52,000 square foot forensic facility required imagery that communicated design quality and the operational specificity of each program space.

  • A civic building with a critical public justice function needed a presentation that conveyed the gravity of the Medical Examiner's role.

  • An $88M city project required visual assets and a delivery the team could execute confidently under live evaluation conditions.

Together, these called for a package built to match the specialized character of a highstakes forensic facility.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package for the City of Jacksonville Medical Examiner's Office, covering renderings, animations, a presentation, and coaching. The renderings and animations brought the proposed 52,000 square foot forensic facility to life, capturing the architectural quality and operational character of a specialized civic building serving Jacksonville's justice infrastructure. The presentation was structured to communicate the complexity and precision of the forensic program, from laboratory and autopsy suites to imaging stations and forensic investigation workstations. PRESWERX then provided coaching, preparing the team to present a technically demanding, highvisibility civic project to the City of Jacksonville's evaluation team.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX built the package around one challenge: making a specialized forensic program feel as purposeful as the civic mission it served.

  • Developed renderings and animations that depicted key forensic program spaces, from autopsy suites and laboratories to imaging stations and administrative areas.

  • Structured the presentation to communicate the technical complexity and civic importance of a 52,000 square foot Medical Examiner's replacement facility.

  • Provided coaching that prepared the team to deliver a technically precise, highstakes civic pursuit with confidence.

The result was a complete package that matched the gravity and specificity of the project from first slide to final delivery.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package that gave a high-stakes civic forensic facility the visual and presentation depth it demanded.

  • Renderings and animations captured the Medical Examiner's facility with the precision and civic character a specialized forensic program requires.

  • The presentation organized a technically complex program into a clear, evaluator-ready narrative the team could own in the room.

  • Coaching ensured the team could speak with confidence to the civic significance and technical specificity of an $88M public forensic facility.

The client entered the City of Jacksonville selection with the full toolkit to make a compelling case for a critical civic investment.
