Project Overview

A leading water and environmental engineering firm engaged PRESWERX to support a competitive pursuit for a major water treatment plant project. The project represented a significant public infrastructure investment, with a design that demanded clear, compelling visual communication to convey the facility's scale and technical complexity to both engineers and public stakeholders. PRESWERX was brought on to transform engineering concepts into polished pursuit materials that could resonate across the full selection committee. The engagement encompassed a complete proposal package, detailed architectural renderings, and animated visualizations purpose-built to advance the client's position in the selection process.

Client Challenges

Competing for a major public water infrastructure award required more than strong engineering credentials. The client needed a pursuit package that communicated a highly technical scope with clarity and visual impact:

  • Translating a complex facility design into accessible, visually compelling content for a selection committee that spanned both technical reviewers and non-technical public stakeholders

  • Differentiating a seasoned team in a competitive field of equally qualified engineering firms, where visual quality and narrative clarity often determine the outcome

  • Producing photorealistic renderings and project animations that captured the scale and ambition of a landmark public works facility within a demanding pursuit timeline

Each challenge required a visual communications partner with proven experience in high-stakes infrastructure pursuits.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package built around the specific demands of a large-scale public water infrastructure competition. The engagement centered on a fully designed and written proposal, structured to guide evaluators through the team's qualifications, approach, and technical methodology in a clear, visually consistent narrative. PRESWERX also produced a set of detailed architectural renderings depicting the planned treatment facility, conveying both its functional layout and design character. Rounding out the package, animated sequences illustrated key process flows and facility features, giving the selection panel a dynamic, accessible view of the finished project before construction began.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached the engagement as a strategic communications challenge, not simply a production assignment. The goal was to make the client's technical depth immediately visible through every element of the pursuit package.

  • Developed a proposal narrative that organized complex technical information around a clear, client-centered story, making the team's methodology easy for evaluators to follow and retain

  • Produced photorealistic facility renderings calibrated to the project's scale, accurately representing the design while elevating its visual impact for a public-sector audience

  • Created animations that distilled intricate process and design concepts into clear, engaging sequences accessible to non-technical members of the selection committee

The result was an integrated pursuit package that gave the client's team a compelling, cohesive story to bring into the selection room.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a fully integrated pursuit package held to the visual and narrative standard of a high-stakes public infrastructure competition.

  • The proposal document organized the client's qualifications and project approach into a structured, evaluator-friendly narrative that supported confident, consistent review

  • Architectural renderings gave the selection committee a detailed, photorealistic preview of the facility, grounding the team's design vision in tangible, high-quality visuals

  • Animated sequences translated complex process flows into clear, dynamic content that non-technical reviewers could engage with and retain long after the initial review

The client entered the selection process with a pursuit package that reflected the quality and ambition of the project itself.
