Project Overview

The Brevard Emergency Operations Center in Rockledge, Florida delivers a new mission-critical facility for Brevard County, engineered to withstand 200 MPH hurricaneforce winds, large missile impact, and ICC 500 2014 Storm Shelter Design requirements. The $35,600,000 facility houses an emergency operations command center and 911 Dispatch call center, alongside training rooms, sleeping quarters, a commercial kitchen, media broadcasting spaces, backup generators, and ice storage. It operates with full utility redundancy and is fully self-sustaining for 96 hours of continuous operation. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings and animations in support of the competitive pursuit.

Client Challenges

The client faced a pursuit where a mission-critical EOC had to communicate engineering resilience and operational completeness at once:

  • A building engineered for 200 MPH winds and ICC 500 storm shelter standards required imagery that matched the gravity of the investment.

  • A program spanning EOC command, 911 Dispatch, sleeping quarters, a commercial kitchen, and media spaces required visuals that made the full scope legible.

  • Brevard County evaluating a $35.6M facility required renderings and animations that made a self-sustaining, 96-hour emergency operations center feel fully realized.

Together, these called for a package that made a mission-critical facility feel as prepared as the county it would protect.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX produced renderings and animations for the Brevard Emergency Operations Center in Rockledge, Florida. The renderings depicted the new facility across its key operational and physical elements, communicating the engineering standard of a building designed for 200 MPH winds and ICC 500 storm shelter requirements alongside the full program of EOC command, 911 Dispatch, training rooms, sleeping quarters, commercial kitchen, media broadcasting spaces, and backup infrastructure. Animations gave Brevard County's evaluation team a dynamic view of the completed facility as a fully realized public safety hub. All deliverables were calibrated to support the competitive submission.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached this as a facility where engineering resilience and operational breadth both had to read clearly in the visuals.

  • Developed renderings that communicated both the engineering strength of a 200 MPH-rated facility and the breadth of its program.

  • Depicted the full operational scope, from the EOC command center and 911 Dispatch to the sleeping quarters, commercial kitchen, and media broadcasting spaces.

  • Produced animations that gave Brevard County a dynamic view of a missioncritical facility built for full self-sufficiency through any emergency.

The result was a package that made a mission-critical public safety building feel as prepared as the county it would serve.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered renderings and animations that gave the Brevard Emergency Operations Center a visual case equal to the seriousness of its mission.

  • Renderings captured the facility from its 200 MPH-rated exterior to the EOC command center, 911 Dispatch, and operational support spaces within.

  • Animations gave Brevard County a dynamic view of a completed public safety facility engineered for 96 hours of fully self-sustaining operation.

  • The combined package gave the client visuals that made a mission-critical emergency facility feel as formidable and prepared as its engineering demanded.

The client entered the Brevard County selection with imagery built to carry a landmark public safety investment.
