Project Overview
The Bixby Performing Arts Center was a landmark civic project for the City of Bixby, Oklahoma, positioned at the corner of Dawes Avenue and Montgomery Street to anchor the east end of downtown. The 70,000-square-foot facility encompassed a 1,200- to 1,500-seat performance hall, an outdoor plaza, a public lobby, a multi-purpose event space, and full back-of-house support, including dressing rooms, a performer's lounge, a catering kitchen, and a loading dock. The client engaged PRESWERX to support the full pursuit with proposal development, visual production, and presentation coaching.

Client Challenges
Pursuing a high-profile civic venue required the client to frame a complex program as one story and stand out before a public owner:
The 70,000 SF scope ranged from a 1,500-seat performance hall to touring back-of-house, and all of it needed to read as a unified vision.
Communicating design quality to a civic selection panel required compelling imagery before construction began.
A competitive public procurement demanded a differentiated submission and a confident, rehearsed live presentation.
All three challenges pointed to the same need: a partner who could unify the story, produce the visuals, and sharpen the team's delivery.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a full pursuit package built around the civic scale and competitive stakes of the project. The team produced a written and designed proposal document that organized the program's complexity into a clear, ownable story for the selection panel. Architectural renderings brought the performance hall, outdoor plaza, and public-facing spaces to life with the visual fidelity needed to communicate design intent to a non-technical audience. Animations and films gave the owner a dynamic experience of the building before construction began. The team also coached the client's presenters to sharpen their delivery for the live selection interview.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX approached the pursuit as a storytelling challenge, establishing a clear message before producing a single deliverable:
The proposal was structured around the project's civic purpose, turning a complex 70,000 SF program into a narrative the selection panel could follow and remember.
Renderings, animations, and film were calibrated to what a public owner needed to see: design quality and community character, not just technical scope.
Presentation coaching sharpened the team's talking points and built confidence for the live interview format.
The result was a cohesive package that gave the client a consistent voice from the written proposal through the final presentation.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package held to the standards of a major public selection. Each piece was built to move the client's team forward:
The proposal document organized a complex, multi-program facility into a clear and compelling story ready for a civic audience.
Renderings, animations, and films gave the selection panel an immediate sense of the building's design quality and community character.
Presentation coaching left the client's team prepared, rehearsed, and confident going into the live interview.
The client entered the selection with a polished, unified package and a team ready to perform at its best.
