Project Overview
The Atrium Health Steel Creek Hospital was a $53 million new hospital facility for Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. The project established a new community hospital serving the Steel Creek area, including one general operating room, one dedicated Csection operating room, and one procedure room. The facility also incorporated beds and an operating room relocated from Atrium Health Pineville, expanding the health system's capacity and access in the Charlotte market. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop renderings and animations that visualized the finished facility ahead of construction.
Client Challenges
The client needed to communicate the quality and purpose of a new community hospital before construction began:
Capturing the clinical quality and character of the facility, including the operating rooms and procedure spaces, in visuals suited to a health system audience.
Conveying how the Steel Creek hospital would extend Atrium Health's reach and serve a growing Charlotte community.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX developed a suite of photorealistic renderings and animations capturing the Atrium Health Steel Creek Hospital at its full potential. The renderings depicted the facility exterior and key clinical spaces, including the operating rooms and procedure room, conveying the quality and care environment Atrium Health sought to establish in the community. Animations gave stakeholders a dynamic view of the completed hospital within the context of the Charlotte market.
