Project Overview

Boyd Gaming Corporation pursued a multi-phase expansion of the Aliante Casino + Spa in North Las Vegas, adding a 112,388 SF high-rise wing with nine stories and 214 new hotel guest rooms, interconnected with the existing tower at every level. The project also included renovation of the on-grade exterior pool deck with relocated cabanas and revised egress, along with a full replacement of the porte cochere and main entry. The work required careful coordination with an operating casino resort, where construction phasing, structural tie-ins to the existing Type 1-A building, and guest experience continuity all demanded close attention. The client engaged PRESWERX to produce renderings and animations that would bring the expansion vision to life for the pursuit.

Client Challenges

Pursuing a hospitality expansion for an active gaming resort presented visualization and storytelling challenges specific to this building type and owner:

  • Visualizing how a new nine-story tower addition would integrate with the existing hotel structure and read as a cohesive addition to the Aliante resort identity.

  • Communicating three separate work packages, the tower addition, pool siteworks, and porte cochere replacement, as parts of a unified expansion rather than disconnected scopes.

  • Conveying the guest-facing transformation of the property to a hospitality owner whose standard for visual presentation reflected the competitive Las Vegas market.

The pursuit required imagery that could satisfy a sophisticated gaming and hospitality owner accustomed to high production value.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX produced architectural renderings and animations tailored to the Aliante expansion's three-part scope. Renderings depicted the new tower addition in context alongside the existing hotel, capturing the scale of the 214-room wing and its interconnection with the existing structure. Pool deck and porte cochere improvements were rendered to show the upgraded guest arrival and amenity experience. Animations provided a dynamic tour of the expanded property, moving through the new tower, renovated pool area, and redesigned main entry to convey how the additions would elevate the resort as a whole. Every visual was developed to meet the production expectations of a major gaming hospitality owner.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached the Aliante pursuit as a hospitality storytelling challenge, knowing that a gaming resort owner evaluates visual work against a high bar set by the industry. Three priorities shaped the deliverables:

  • Rendered the tower addition at a scale and angle that made the integration with the existing hotel feel resolved and architecturally intentional, not incremental.

  • Treated the pool deck and porte cochere as guest experience improvements rather than construction scopes, emphasizing the hospitality impact of each renovation on arrival and amenity quality.

  • Produced animations with the visual quality expected of a Las Vegas-market hospitality project, giving the owner imagery that reflected the caliber of the finished property.

The result was a visual package that positioned the client as a team capable of delivering an expansion worthy of the Aliante brand.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX delivered a pursuit-ready visual package calibrated to the expectations of a major gaming hospitality owner. Each deliverable contributed directly to the client's pursuit position:

  • Renderings gave the owner a clear, high-quality picture of how the expanded resort would look, covering the tower addition, pool renovation, and new main entry across all three work packages.

  • Animations translated the three-part expansion into a single, seamless property experience, helping evaluators see the full transformation rather than a collection of individual scopes.

  • The combined visual package met the production standard of the Las Vegas hospitality market, reflecting the client's ability to work at the level the owner expected.

The client entered the selection process with imagery that matched the ambition of the expansion and the sophistication of the owner.
