Project Overview
The Alachua County Civil Courthouse was a $33.5 million new construction project in Gainesville, Florida, procured through a competitive Construction Management at Risk process. The facility was designed to serve the judicial and administrative needs of Alachua County, requiring a team that could demonstrate both deep construction management experience and a clear vision for delivering a complex public building. The procurement called for detailed qualifications, a written proposal aligned to the evaluation criteria, and a live interview presentation before the selection panel. PRESWERX partnered with the client to produce the full pursuit package, including proposal content, renderings, animations, a custom presentation, and hands-on coaching.

Client Challenges
Competing for a high-profile public courthouse required the client to perform across every phase of a multi-stage evaluation process. Three challenges shaped the pursuit strategy:
Translating a large, complex courthouse scope into a cohesive written narrative that gave evaluators a clear picture of the client's qualifications
Visualizing a new civic facility before construction began so the selection panel could connect with the design intent and quality
Preparing the presentation team to perform under pressure in a live interview where evaluators could probe any aspect of the project approach
Each element of the pursuit had to work together to build a single, credible story about the client's capability and readiness.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package built around the specific requirements of a competitive public courthouse procurement. The team produced a comprehensive proposal document structured to the RFP's evaluation criteria, ensuring each section advanced a clear and consistent case for the client's qualifications and experience. High-quality architectural renderings and animations brought the courthouse design to life before a foundation was poured, giving evaluators a concrete image of the finished facility. PRESWERX then built a custom interview presentation that carried the proposal narrative into the room, and delivered hands-on presentation coaching to sharpen the team's delivery, pacing, and readiness for evaluator questions.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX treated the pursuit as a unified storytelling effort, building one consistent narrative that ran from the written proposal through the interview. Every deliverable was developed to reinforce the same message about the client's qualifications:
Developed proposal content mapped directly to the RFP's evaluation criteria, connecting the client's project experience to the courthouse's specific scope and requirements
Produced architectural renderings and animations that transformed the design into a vivid, tangible image evaluators could respond to
Coached the presentation team through structured rehearsals, focusing on clarity, pacing, and confident responses to panel questions
The approach ensured the client showed up to every phase of the evaluation with a consistent, polished, and credible presence.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a full-spectrum pursuit package that gave the client a strong, consistent presence across every phase of the selection process. Each deliverable was built to perform under competitive scrutiny:
The proposal document presented the client's qualifications in a structured, evaluator-friendly format tied directly to the RFP criteria, making the case clear and easy to score
The renderings and animations gave the selection panel a compelling, concrete picture of the finished courthouse, turning an abstract scope into something evaluators could visualize and remember
Presentation coaching left the team prepared, rehearsed, and confident going into the live interview, ready to handle evaluator questions with clarity and depth
When selection day arrived, the client was as prepared and well-positioned as any team could be.
