Project Overview
AdventHealth pursued construction of a new $254 million, 67-bed hospital off U.S. 25/70 in northern Buncombe County, North Carolina, aimed at expanding healthcare access for families across Buncombe, Madison, Yancey, and surrounding counties. The project represented a significant investment in a region that had long relied on facilities in Asheville for acute care, and its greenfield site in Weaverville placed it within reach of a broader mountain community underserved by existing healthcare infrastructure. The client engaged PRESWERX to produce renderings, animations, and a structured presentation, and to prepare the team through coaching for the live selection interview.

Client Challenges
Pursuing a community hospital contract for a faith-based healthcare system in a rural mountain region required the client to address a set of challenges specific to this owner and this project:
Visualizing a 67-bed hospital on a greenfield site along a rural highway corridor, giving AdventHealth's evaluators a credible picture of what the finished facility would look like in its northern Buncombe County setting.
Communicating the team's experience with community hospital delivery, where the relationship between the construction partner and the health system carries as much weight as technical credentials.
Preparing for a live interview with a mission-driven healthcare owner whose evaluation of a construction partner extended to cultural alignment, not just qualifications.
The pursuit required materials and a team performance that reflected both the technical complexity and the community purpose of the project.

Scope of Work
PRESWERX produced renderings, animations, and a structured presentation for the client's AdventHealth Buncombe pursuit, then ran coaching sessions with the team ahead of the live interview. Renderings depicted the proposed hospital on its Weaverville site, capturing the building's scale and character in the context of the surrounding mountain landscape and highway corridor. Animations brought the facility to life in motion, conveying the patient and visitor experience from arrival through the building's key clinical and public spaces. The presentation was organized around AdventHealth's mission and the regional healthcare access goals driving the project, connecting the team's hospital construction experience to what this specific community needed. Coaching sessions refined each presenter's delivery and prepared the team to speak with both clinical awareness and community sensitivity.

PRESWERX Approach
PRESWERX recognized that AdventHealth evaluates construction partners through the lens of mission alignment as well as technical capability. The pursuit strategy wove those two threads together throughout:
Produced renderings and animations that placed the hospital in its mountain community context, grounding the visual work in the specific setting rather than presenting a generic healthcare facility.
Built the presentation narrative around community access and healthcare expansion, framing the team's delivery approach in terms that aligned with AdventHealth's stated mission for the project.
Ran coaching sessions that prepared the team to speak to both the hospital's clinical requirements and its significance as a community investment, giving presenters the range needed for a faith-based healthcare interview.
Every element of the package was built to reflect the care that a hospital serving rural mountain communities deserved.
Results Delivered
PRESWERX delivered a complete pursuit package built to the expectations of a mission-driven healthcare owner selecting a partner for a significant regional hospital project. Each deliverable contributed directly to the client's position:
Renderings and animations that gave AdventHealth's evaluators a compelling, site-specific picture of the proposed hospital, rooted in the northern Buncombe County landscape rather than a generic hospital aesthetic.
A structured presentation that connected the team's hospital construction experience to AdventHealth's community access mission, making the client's case on both technical and values-based grounds.
A coached team prepared to engage a faith-based healthcare owner with the depth, alignment, and presence the selection process demanded.
The client entered the selection process with a pursuit package that honored both the scale of the investment and the communities the hospital would serve.
