Project Overview

"M" Elementary School (East Zone) was a $97 million public education facility planned for Fort Myers, Florida, developed for the School Board of Lee County. The project anticipated a FISH capacity of 1,000 students and centered on the District's established prototype elementary school concept, updated and modified to meet current codes and School District design requirements. With a substantial completion target of July 2027, the pursuit demanded a polished, competitive submission. The client engaged PRESWERX to develop proposal and presentation materials and provide coaching to sharpen the team's readiness for the selection process.

Client Challenges

The client faced a competitive pursuit with a well-defined scope and high community visibility:

  • Positioning the prototype school adaptation as a thoughtful, site-specific modernization rather than an off-the-shelf solution

  • Differentiating the team's qualifications in a field of experienced education contractors pursuing the same work

  • Communicating a $97 million, 1,000-student program in a way that resonated with a public school board audience

  • Preparing the team for a live selection interview where clarity and confidence would be essential

Together, these challenges required a pursuit package that translated technical expertise into a compelling, accessible story for the selection committee.

Scope of Work

PRESWERX developed a comprehensive proposal and presentation package tailored to the School Board of Lee County's procurement process. The proposal captured the client's project understanding, team qualifications, and approach to adapting the District's prototype design for the East Zone site. The presentation translated that content into a visually structured, narrative-driven format built for a live interview setting. PRESWERX also provided presentation coaching, preparing the client's team to deliver their story with clarity and confidence before the selection committee. Every deliverable was calibrated to the audience and the competitive stakes of a $97 million public education project.

PRESWERX Approach

PRESWERX approached the engagement as a full pursuit partner, aligning proposal strategy, presentation design, and team coaching into one cohesive effort:

  • Developed a proposal narrative that framed the prototype school adaptation as a code-compliant modernization tailored to the needs of the East Zone community

  • Designed a presentation framework that organized the client's strengths into a clear, sequential story built for a live selection audience

  • Delivered focused coaching sessions to sharpen the team's delivery, address likely panel questions, and build interview confidence

The result was a pursuit package where every component reinforced the same story and the team entered the selection fully prepared.

Results Delivered

PRESWERX produced a complete pursuit package ready to perform under the scrutiny of a public board selection:

  • The proposal delivered a clear, well-organized project narrative that addressed the District's prototype adaptation requirements with specificity and depth

  • The presentation gave the client a structured, interview-ready deck that communicated scope and team capability without relying on technical jargon

  • Coaching sessions equipped the team to present with confidence, field questions, and maintain composure through the live evaluation

Entering the selection, the client's team was prepared, aligned, and positioned to make a strong case.
